Noor Ahmed Gelal was born in 1977 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. After completing his graduation he attended a basic course on Photography from a local Institute of Photography in Dhaka. He also participated numerous workshops for continuous professional development under reputed photographers such as Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, Dr. Rashid Un Nabi, Roman Bezjak and Steve Fraser. Gelal took up professional photography in 2003. His major interests includes Travel, Cultural, Social Issues and Nature. His works have been published in many prestigious national and international publications and exhibited in Bangladesh and abroad at Loke Wan Tho Gallery, Singapore; Siena Art Photo Travel, Italy; Musee du Louvre, France; Kaohsiung International Photographer Exhibition, Taiwan; and Publika Solaris Dutamas, Malaysia, among others.
